This is currently my 8th year teaching elementary school and my 2nd year at Highcroft.  I have experience in Kindergarten, First and Second grade.  I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Elementary Education.  Teaching is truly my passion and I consider it a joy to be able to do what I love every day!  

I believe that all students should have the opportunity to learn and grow to their fullest potential.  I also believe that whatever students put their minds to, they can achieve with hard work and determination.  Kindergarten is a year of discovery, learning and growth.  I utilize various teaching strategies that are developmentally appropriate to ensure that students foster a love of learning that will be carried with them throughout life.
